God will Provide for His Bride - Life can be so hard sometimes, but even in the midst of the most difficult circumstances, we must never forget that our loving Abba provides our every need. Keep the Faith.

God will provide for His Bride…even when it doesn’t seem like He is.

Right now we are preparing to leave everything we own (for the most part) to protect the things that matter most (our lives) as we wait for this storm to hit.

We have been through many storms these past few years: separating from the military, unemployment, transitioning into an RV with our entire family, learning that our oldest daughter has Type 1 Diabetes, welcoming a new baby into the family, and more.

And the one thing I have experienced time and time again?  God ALWAYS will provide, one way or another.

God Will Provide

Life is wrought with so many storms.  They come physically.  And they come mentally.  Of course, they also come emotionally and spiritually…they just come.

It is so easy to doubt God when life gets messy.  To be tossed to and fro by the waves of life.  And, sometimes the words of other people really do nothing to help us to cope.

Words can plant seeds of doubt and confusion, especially when God’s character is not well understood.

It is our job to know Him.  It is His job to carry out His promises.

And He will.  He always will.

When Life Rages, Remember Who He Is

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”  ~Philippians 4: 19

God, our Abba, our Heavenly Bridegroom, is the lover of our souls.  He delights in His Children and dotes on the unique gifts we each bring to the world.

Like a Good Shepherd He leads us to streams of living water, refreshing us with the cold and purifying and cleansing us with the hot.  Lukewarm has no place in Him.

He is our Good Provider.  It is His delight to redeem the things which are stolen.  When we trust in Him, we are never disappointed.  And when we are suffering, He offers comfort and tender care.

Be Rooted in Truth

But, we must be diligent to take captive the antagonistic thoughts that spew lies and doubts against Him and replace them with the Truths repeatedly spoken in the Word.

It is our responsibility to meditate on His Truths…that’s the part that is for us to control.  For when we do we will be more firmly grounded with deepening roots that help us to weather the storms.

Shallow roots means a tree can be knocked over.

Root down deeply in His Truths and stand.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”  ~ Jer. 29: 11-3

God will provide.

I definitely loved this post!! Trying to think of scriptures that come to mind when I’m in the middle of a struggle and I’m completely drawing a blank…maybe “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Or “Be still and know that so am God.” Or sometimes it’s just a positive affirmation or truth that is opposite from whatever ugly thoughts are going through my head.

I love this verse: ” Thou, O Lord, are a Shield for me, my Glory and the Lifter Up of my head” Psalm 3:3
